Update: Our continued response to COVID-19

July 2022

A Touch of Ginger (ATOG) continues to make the safety, and physical and emotional well-being of our patients and staff our highest priority.

Safety Procedures

Following are procedures that have been implemented for the safety of ATOG’s patients and staff:

  • Masks now are optional in the clinic. Practitioners will continue to respect a patient’s wishes and will mask upon request.
  • ATOG continues to change linens, clean surfaces and the room after each patient to ensure safety.
  • Patients should arrive 5 – 10 minutes prior to their appointment start.
  • Patients should call the office as soon as possible if they experience any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, body aches, cough, shortness of breath or vomiting. Patients may be asked to reschedule their appointment to an herbal medicine consultation via telemedicine and will be prescribed an herbal formula to heal as soon as possible.

Telemedicine is Available

ATOG will continue to offer Telemedicine for patients who are immunocompromised and/or are not ready for in-person treatments yet. ATOG has chosen a specific service that allows practitioners to conduct Telemedicine appointments on a HIPAA-compliant, secure video line. This service makes the process easy and seamless. It does not require patients to download an app or create an account. Patients click a link provided in their email/text appointment notification, and it will connect them to their practitioner quickly, easily and safely!

After the practitioner has decided on an herbal formula, ATOG will contact the patient when their formula is ready to determine the most convenient method of delivery. The herbal formula can either be picked up at the office via curbside pickup or sent via U.S. mail.
